Psytechnics Selected for Exclusive Microsoft Technology Adoption Program (TAP)
Portsmouth, NH - July 16, 2010: Psytechnics, a provider of voice and video service management solutions, today announced that it has been selected by Microsoft to participate in the exclusive Microsoft Technology Adoption Program (TAP) for Microsoft Communications Server "14". TAP is an early beta program for select partners and customers who Microsoft has determined are important to a successful release of Communications Server "14". Psytechnics is among an elite group of Microsoft go-to-market partners worldwide selected for this program.
Psytechnics' unique ability to deliver trusted, independent end-user Quality of Experience (QoE) visibility for unified communications (UC), including video conferencing and streaming, in a simplified, actionable form to IT and operations teams already facilitates OCS 2007 deployments in large enterprise and managed service provider environments.
Collaborative communications is evolving quickly and the threats to the intended service quality are many and varied. Application settings, firewalls, rogue devices, unmanaged bandwidth, interoperability issues, third party networks, transcoding, mobility, etc. all put the end-user experience at risk. Giving the early adopters of advanced UC platforms such as the Communications Server "14" clear visibility into the performance of their investments, before, during and after introduction, is key to their success. Psytechnics' Experience Manager 5 offers a simplified way to view users' voice and video experience in real-time, proactively diagnosing impairments and keeping service levels above expectations.
"Psytechnics has been working with Microsoft and its UC customers for years," said Anthony Finbow, CEO, Psytechnics. "We are proud to contribute to this new Microsoft TAP to ensure that the next wave of products deliver on their promise, even in the most complex and demanding environments."
"Numerous large enterprises and service providers around the globe have relied on Experience Manager to provide simplified diagnostics and meaningful reporting for their premium voice and video applications," continued Mr. Finbow. "Our approach has always begun with the premise that the end-users' experience is the arbiter of application and network health, not simply packet loss and jitter metrics. If you understand Quality of Experience (QoE), and can measure it accurately across the entire network, you can ensure telephony, wireless and video users are not put at risk, and that IT Operations teams keep their costs down. Our work with Microsoft continues to assure Communications Server "14" adopters the most superior experience from their investments."
Psytechnics will offer Microsoft Communications Server "14" customers a special licensing opportunity of Experience Manager 5 through TAP and will work closely with them to ensure a safe and smooth rollout of their new UC services, including premium audio, hi-def desktop video and boardroom telepresence.
